Well it has been 3 weeks today since i had reconstructive jaw surgery. I was born with a birth defect of the jaw causing severe pain and discomfort.All of the tendons and muscles were severed on the right side. sometimes i couldnt eat alot because it hurt too much. Sometimes it would even lock up to where i couldnt open it up to a certain point.

Finally i had the surgery on febuary 5th. i was so damn scared because it was major surgery. it ended up being 5 hours long resulting in a broken upper jaw a scar on the side of my face that is 6 inches long and my mouth wired shut. the down side of this surgery is that my right side of my face is currently numb and my eye doesnt blink
but ill eventually get the feeling back, or so i am told..

eventhough this has been the hardest 3 weeks of my life between not being able to eat almost anything and random people making fun of me b/c of my face i know in the end it is all worth it..i will be able to eat anything without the fear of hurting

anddddd i got my wires off 3 weeks early so i can move my jaw a little bit now. Now i can drink through a straw!
almost done with this crap yay!
